10mins Breathwork for Calm | Settle the Nervous System

This 10-minute breathwork practice uses the 4-7-8 ratio breath: inhale for four counts, retain for seven, exhale for eight. A beautiful breathing technique for activating the parasympathetic nervous system the branch responsible for rest, digestion and genuine calm.

Short enough to fit into a lunch break or the space between tasks but effective enough to genuinely shift your state.

This practice is for you if:

  • You're wired but tired and can't seem to land

  • Anxiety or stress is sitting somewhere in your chest

  • You want a grounding tool you can return to off the mat

No props needed. No prior breathwork experience required. Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Best experienced seated or lying down, somewhere you won't be interrupted.

Enjoy :)
